The prize giving and closing ceremony of International Children’s Village Day was organized at ‘Helmut Kutin Auditorium’ on 24 June 2023. On this auspicious day, Executive Director of Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) and Former Advisor of Caretaker Government Rasheda K. Choudhury was the Chief Guest of the programme. Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, National Director SOS Children’s Villages in Bangladesh  and Chairman, Governing Body of SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka, the Principal, the Vice Principal & the members of Governing Body of SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka  were also present. The guests visited rooms of project works and book fair. The programme started with the recitation from the Holy Quran. After the Principal’s welcome speech, the National Director SOS Children’s Villages in Bangladesh  gave his inspirational speech. After that  the Chief Guest gave away the prizes among the winners of different competitions held before  during ‘Hermann Gmeiner Week’ . Then the Chief Guest  delivered  her speech praising  the students’ projects highly and inspired them. After  the Chief Guest’s speech the programme came to an end with a wonderful cultural programme.
