Freshers’ Reception
Freshers’ Reception programme for the newly admitted students to class XI (session 2022- 2023) in SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka was held in Helmut Kutin auditorium of the college on 9 February 2023. The programme was arranged by the students of class XII. The programme started at 11:20 a.m. with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Next,respectively, two students of class XI and XII; and one of the class teachers of class XI delivered their speeches. Finally, the Principal of the college delivered her speech. She welcomed the students warmly and advised them to study well, to be good human beings and to follow the path of Dr. Hermann Gmeiner. After the completion of her speech, the mesmerizing cultural part began. The students of class XII showed their performance singing, dancing and staging a drama. The whole programme ended at 01:00 p.m. distributing snacks and beverages among the students.
