The 52^nd anniversary of the Victory Day of Bangladesh was observed by the students and the teachers of SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka with great enthusiasm and due solemnity. On the occasion of the day a programme was held in Helmut Kutin auditorium of the college. The programme started at 11:45 a.m. with the recitation from the Holy Quran by a student of class XII. Then two students, two teachers and finally, the Vice Principal of the college delivered their warm and valuable speeches. The Vice Principal of the college focused on the courage and great sacrifices of 7 Most Valiant Heroes of Bangladesh. In her speech she urged the students to become patriots following the path of the Most Valiant Heroes of the country. The discussion part ended at 12:30 p.m. that followed a cultural programme. In this part some students sang patriotic songs and recited patriotic poems. The whole programme ended at 1:00 p.m. It can be mentioned here that on the occasion of the Martyred Intellectuals Day 2022, students of the college composed a wall magazine and boarded it on the “Sheikh Russel Deyalika Corner” of the college on 14 December 2022. On this occasion, a banner on the Martyred Intellectuals was also put up on the frontal wall of the college.
