The Crest Giving Ceremony

The Crest Giving Ceremony of the GPA-5 achievers in the SSC Examination 2020 was held on 29 November 2021 in Helmut Kutin Auditorium of SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka. The students of class XII, the teachers and the Vice Principal of the college were present in the programme with 45 GPA-5 achievers. The Principal of the college presided over the programme in which the Chairman of the College Governing body and National Director, SOS Children’s Villages International, Dr. Enamul Haque was the chief guest. Respected Project Director, SOS Children’s Villages, Dhaka, Md. Saiful Islam and the Senior Director of SOS Children’s Villages International, Ms. Dalia Das also graced the programme. The programme started at 9:00 a.m. with the recitation from the Holy Quran by a student of class XII. Then two students among the GPA-5 achievers delivered their speeches thanking the teachers who played an important role in getting their GPA-5. Next, one of the class teachers of the GPA-5 achievers and the Principal of the college delivered their speeches congratulating the students. After their speeches, the Chairman of the College Governing body and National Director of SOS Children’s Villages International handed over the crests to 45 GPA-5 achievers. Finally, he delivered his important speech congratulating the GPA-5 achievers and inspiring other students. He wished them the best to keep going ahead successfully with moral virtue. The whole programme ended at 11:00 a.m. distributing lunch boxes among all the students.
